Introduce a team that needs position data. Earn on what they buy.
You make the introduction. We run the demo, the sale and the onboarding. When your referral becomes a client, you earn a commission on their first year.
For people whose clients manage on-chain positions
If the teams you work with struggle to track or report liquidity and lending positions, you already know who to introduce.
Consultants and advisors
You advise funds, treasuries or protocols on DeFi strategy and operations.
Fund administrators
Your clients need position values and performance for NAV and investor reports.
Accountants and auditors
You need records of on-chain positions that hold up at year end.
Educators and community leads
Serious LPs and small funds already ask you which tools to use.
Legal, tax and compliance firms
Your crypto clients are asked for data they cannot easily produce.
Existing clients
You use DeFi Orbit and know another team that should.
Four steps, and no selling on your side
- 01
Sign the agreement
A short referral agreement that sets out the terms.
- 02
Make a written introduction
By email or message. The written introduction is what registers the referral to you.
- 03
We take it from there
We run the demo, scope the work, agree the contract and onboard the client.
- 04
You are paid when they pay
Commission follows each client payment, with a statement.
The essentials
The full terms are in the referral agreement we send after you apply.
The teams we help most
A good referral is a team with real capital in liquidity or lending positions and someone asking them for numbers.
Four rules that protect you, us and the client
Tell the client you earn a commission
Teams should know when a recommendation is paid.
Introduce, do not represent
Referral partners are independent. They cannot make commitments or sign on behalf of DeFi Orbit.
Keep deal details private
Client names, deal sizes and contract terms stay confidential on both sides.
Commission never touches the data
A referral does not change pricing for the client or how any number is calculated.
Questions referral partners ask
No. Your part is a written introduction, by email or message, to a team you think should be using DeFi Orbit. We run the demo, scope the work, agree the contract and onboard them, and you’re kept in the loop as it progresses.
Any paid commercial agreement the team signs with us within 12 months of your introduction: Portfolio Enterprise, API contracts and Custom Data projects. You earn 10% of recurring revenue and 5% of one-time fees, on everything they pay in their first 12 months, including upgrades in that period.
No targets and no exclusivity. You can introduce one team or twenty, and you’re free to work with other companies. Either side can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, and commissions on clients already signed keep being paid until their 12 months end.
Your written introduction is the record, and we confirm it by reply so you have it in writing. If two people introduce the same team, the first documented introduction counts.
You do. Referral partners are independent contractors, not employees or agents of DeFi Orbit, so you’re responsible for your own taxes and reporting. Each payment comes with a statement showing the client, the amount received and how the commission was calculated, which makes that easier.
No. Commission comes out of our revenue, not the client’s price, and a referred client pays exactly what a client who found us directly would pay.
In the referral agreement, which we send when you apply. It’s two pages, in plain language, and it’s the document that applies if anything on this page is ever out of date.
